Standalone Software
The standalone software gives you the ability to stream audio from up to 100 mobile devices straight into your computer. Have your friends or clients connect to auxCord and listen to their music on your computer speakers.
SeAmless Connectivity
Apple users can simply connect to auxCord with the device’s build-in AirPlay settings.
- For Android users we recommend “AirMusic” available on the Google store.
auxCord Plugin
The auxCord plugin lets you stream audio from up to 100 mobile devices straight into your DAW. Referencing music, listening to your client’s voicememos or connecting your co-producer’s laptop straight to the main studio; all you have to do is open up auxCord on a track in your DAW, connect your device to auxCord and start streaming.

Faq
Open auxCord on an aux track, this enables auxCord to be discoverable on your network. On your mobile device, select auxCord as your audio streaming device. Once connected, everything you play on your mobile device will stream straight to auxCord on your Aux track.
- make sure you installed the “standalone + plugin” version of auxCord
- once you run the installer, auxCord will be installed in all the correct places on your computer
- after installing auxCord, restart ProTools.
- make sure you load auxCord on a stereo track, it won’t show up as an option on a mono track
- create New audio track
- set track to stereo
- set any unused bus as the input source
- load auxCord and connect your mobile device
- set track to record enable or Input enable
Start the auxCord application, this enables auxCord to be discoverable on your network. On your iOs device, select auxCord as your audio streaming device. Once connected, everything you play on your mobile device will stream straight to auxCord.
For checking mixes on your phone, we recommend Mix to Mobile by Sound on Digital:
Make sure your computer running auxCord and your mobile device are connected to the same network.
